Reflection 2018

Over the year I have done a lot of art that I am proud of, but the art project I am the proudest of is our body casting unit. The reason is that this was the project I could express more of my personality, the others were more structured and I couldn't add my own touch as much. From this project, I learned that anything can be considered art.  

My favorite project was my independent project because it was 2 mediums I understood and love to work with.  Photography is my favorite type of art to work with and I feel comfortable with transfers onto wood.  

I would like to explore more watercolour and photography.   I would like to explore watercolour by painting landscapes and other ways of painting.  I would like to study other forms of art like photography.   

The project that challenged me the most was the Inspirational women drawing because I just couldn't get Michelle Obama's features right.  I overcame it by working at it until it looked right.  From this project I learned to have some patience and work on a project until it is wright.   

My least favorite project was our colour wheel project because I wasn't proud of how it turned out.  I would have wanted the title to be nicer and my colours to have been nicer. 

I learned how to manage my time more.  Now that I can manage my time a little better it will help me study for exams and create other projects.
